The one thing I don't get about these tournaments is why is One Piece excluded?
Going by the other discussions, it's the most disliked series on this forum lmao no chance it would win any of the tournaments
On the other hand, there's a healthy seinen circlejerk where everything seinen = good, from art to ost in anime. That's how we get the most mainstream Berserk panels in this competition for example

Absolutely haha. I also dont like them for personal reasons though.
Vagabond looks beautiful at times thogh at least, I've seen some beautiful panels and art of it.
I'm sure some of these other series have beautiful panels too especially in their own ways ofc, despite my dislike of them.
And to say a positive about Berserk though, Guts theme is amazing. I discovered it via Drizzt and memes so I'm very grateful for that.
Guts seems pretty cool in his writing and design too, a synopsis above describing him in regret and in comparison to Nosferatu impressed me a lot. Interesting stuff.

I'm sure some of these other series have beautiful panels too especially in their own ways ofc, despite my dislike of them.

OP would still get a ton of submissions on pre TS at least tbh. Somr post TS stuff too potentially.
There are a lot of people here who do it love OP and even vote at least 4 stars often if not routinely in new chapters too.
They are mostly a lot quieter than the rest of us for various reasons :P.
This being a primarily OP forum and this demographic gives OP an immense, unfair advantage too.
Complety true about the Seinen circlejeek too though. Its definitely like that here as well in Drizzt and Jay D Legends communities which I had to endure for ages too. I know KOLs and Bragos fanbsases love Berserk, Vagabond etc AFAIK, KOL definitely and Fiji too. Brago I've seen with Berserk volumes on stream and his community would love Berserk including the worst and most edgy parts.
As @solis said, it feels like LARPing at maturity/being an adult tbh. Although I know some fans of it including some of the people i mentioned are mature people too ofc.
