Yeah the downfall began from the chairman election arc with the scribble like drawing and panel full of dialogues. It was poor quality. But the fact that all the previous arcs were so damn satisfying in terms of everything makes me still wanna go back to reading them. Anyone starting to read this series is still going to be engaged for a very long time until hiatus hits. There will always be a regret that couldn’t see an end to this.

Unrelated, but the fact that Dragon Ball currently has zero votes is maybe the only objectively good thing on this forum…don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t be here OR a manga reader in general if I didn’t discover DBZ in the late 90s, but for all the ways it changed the genre, it’s definitely earned its current reputation as an encapsulation of everything that’s wrong with shonen series :gonope:

That meme is so accurate. But oda's panelling is one thing he is very good at imo.
I think kengan should be an option too fights flow very well there from panel to panel. Unfortunately it suffers from the Kingdom effect of having a bad anime adaptation.

Tower of God is an amazing shounen even without Maschenny lol.

She only really became active around 400 chapters into the story (the story is at around 530 chapters now). She's not why I praise the story so much.

--Tower of god is must read series imo ; world building is one the best and for someone like me who have naruto very high at the totem pole was thinking TOW may even surpass it

--The only issue for me is its rewatch quality ; I won't read tower of god again where I have watched naruto so many times
