The best things...no fucking clue. I became more weeb than I ever was. The emergence of hololive/vtubers in general into pop culture, that is.

Nothing tbh. I had small moments I thought were awesome for me but overall it was a hard year that I want to forget.

2021 was a year of transition and recovery. 2020 was difficult for me on many levels. I needed to pick myself up. That meant a change of scenery, healthy companionship, and a more positive outlook moving forward.

The best things that happened in that time was re-bonding and moving in with my sister, who I haven't spent time with in person for years. The new place was difficult to adjust to, but I met very friendly folks who even offered a job to me and sis. It now feels like home. And finally, I met someone very special this year. He's been wonderful. A kind, soft spoken, but assertive guy, who has a lot in common with me, and has been a source of comfort while I acclimated to my new place.

Worldwide, it's gonna be the vaccines. For me personally? Nothing much except that I was able to returned to school in person since late March 2020, meeting all my friends again is always a nice fresh air.
