I was tempted to make a sign up thread for best villain motivation. Thats gonna be more complex to make in some ways I think, since its gonna involve synopsis and pictures too. I have a solid template for contests which involve submitting videos only like music contests but something more unorthordox like this might be trickier to do.

Aye thats true, I always struggle with the first steps the most. Once you get over the initial humps, its usually smooth sailing from there ofc.
I'm seriously thinking about doing One Piece specific contests but also Bleach, Naruto, Zelda, Fairy Tail but idk if Zelda and FT will be popular enough but they should be I Imagine? At least Zelda?

If I didnt delete my Imgur account, I could have hosted all entries into a singular album and linked that for everyone to browse through easily too and vote after seeing them that way. (I could make a new account but meh I rather not lol)

In case of a tie in the Semi-Finals, in round 1 where there was a tie, take the two entries, add up the number of votes they both accumulated in the previous rounds, and the one who accumulated more votes in the other rounds advances to the final and faces the winner of round 2.

I think @Adam 🍎 perfected the technique, with gif previews and more pics under the spoiler tag.
But in my case when I tried to make 7 fights in R2 in one thread, half of them got broken, so I'd be careful there and not accept many pictures anymore, 1 picture and synopsis under the spoiler should look fine. Find "best character ability" thread, it should be similar to best villain motivation.

Okay, I decided to go with Rampart theme from HoMM3 instead since it's been stuck on my head for a few days now.
I'll even add a synopsis!
Heroes of Might and Magic 3 are full of nostalgia, hours of fun gameplay with friends and, of course, wonderful music. Everyone in my group had "their" favourite town, mine happens to be Rampart, because I'm a LOTR nerd, and love elves, dwarves, dragons, and all that magical forest aesthetic. When I was 14, I once made a huge mistake of changing the Rampart theme to a pop song I liked - and I ended up hating the song so much that I had to change it back. But I never had this problem with the original Rampart theme (or any other OG music, I still use HoMM battle themes for my D&D games).
This piece just kept popping up in my head, and I don't care if it gets 0 votes, I just want you to appreciate its ethereal beauty.
If you played HoMM3 as a teen, you will understand me. If your childhood had another great game you liked, well, I still recommend to check out the HoMM3 soundtrack, it's worth it!

Thats a great idea! I think I remember Light or Adam suggesting or doing that before too in their contests or something, definitely have seen it used for previous contests sometime!
I'm going with Ekko's idea though as thats easier and quicker and I did feel 1 day is a bit short for a semi-final too (well it ended up being a bit longer at least anyway due to the issue with the poll and what not but still), so I'm gonna be pedantic and open the polls again for 1 more day to see if we can get anymore votes in and give @Gari another chance to vote for both fights, in case they are around too.
Since @Gari didn't vote for the other fight in time, I can't count their vote and thus we've ended up with a perfect balance of FREAKING 13 OFF ALL NUMBERS TOO! ON FREAKING FRIDAY THE 13TH TOO! YOU ABSOLUTE TROLLS LMFAO! I think I can choose hours or minutes instead too, I think I saw an option for that? I'm assuming a staff member has to close it themselves to end the polls immediately instead?

Aye thank you, I keep forgetting about the VIP privileges ironically lol. Yeah, @Adam 🍎 got it down amazingly well in his recent contests, Light had it perfected too naturally but Adam got it down perfect now too in his own way.
Aye, I remember Light telling me in the past that he ended up requesting people to combine images into one image as a collage due to that issue you mentioned or we'd send him the images and he'd do it himself.
I think it would be best to suggest only 1 picture and video per entry at most to keep things simpler, I'll have to see what I can do I guess.
These contests are such a headache though, so I'm not promising anything either, actually.
