I doubt that Rayleigh and Garling fought much, although some clashes are likely, but Garling is meant to be Whitebeard's opponent.

I'm all for Ray vs Garling although I don't see Oda have the argubably the second big bad among the WG (after Imu) lost his first on screen fight so at best Ray clashed a bit with Garling and something interupted, allowing Ray to save Shakky.

If Shakky is so sure about Rayleigh's strength and knows he is invincible even at +70 years old, it's because he never lost front of her or from what she heard of. And Shakky wasn't only saying that Rayleigh can solo all Supernovas at SA but even if you touch a CD and an admiral/navy comes, Rayleigh would be perfectly fine.

And how Rayleigh saved her before and lost after against a no one ? So if he lost, that means Wang Zhi kidnapped her once again. Or you gonna tell us that after Rayleigh got k.oed, someone else came and saved Shakky and Rayleigh ? come on, be serious.

I don't think anyone bar Xebec Is having a fight with a proper ending. They all are going to be scuffles and clashes.

The Dark King, someone comparable to Roger and WB, compared to Shanks in CoC, someone who fought against Kizaru as an old man and made BB shy away.
Someone who is going to have a 4B bounty as a subordinate imho.

No, Teach beating Marco is the official reason he became a Yonko from what I remember. Those were the two big battlers of the timeskip as long as Akainu and Kuzan. Wang Zhi is irrelevant.

Shakky only meant that Rayleigh would be fine because nobody on the island is strong enough to best him. She never implied anything about navy/admiral failing to beat him.
