I like to think Oda can change his plans if he understands that an element doesnt work. Now,Big Mom is just not a villain suited for this arc! He should find a way to move her and his crew to Elbaf,they would work better there in my opinion.

We didn't see her falling into the sea this chapter so it very likely she won't even become O-lin but just fall on the Mama chanter or some shit.

Hmmm if she is not killed which is extremely unlikely she will most likely reconcile with her crew yes.

I think she will possibly not be entirely out of the equation after this arc independently from that notion. It's highly debatable whether or not she will be consistently fought this arc even, funnily.
