General & Others Biggest Plot Hole in One Piece?

#21
When Ace was in Wano and met Tama and Oar Jr. Did he know that Tama suffered under Kaido's rule? If not Ace then did WB know that his friend's country (Oden) was terrorized by Kaido? They left Wano as If nothing happened.
That whole placement of Ace in Wano is clearly a new idea altogether, so it's bound to be a bit patched up. Even though I'm happy to see Ace, unsure what the purpose of the whole story is, just Tama's attachment? It can't be just that, can it?

Maybe to deepen the bond between Luffy and Tama since both of them have deep connection to Ace. Tama also might play a major role in defeating Beast Pirates with her df so Luffy as main character has deep connection with a character that would play a major role in defeating the main antagonist makes sense to me. But Luffy knew the moment he met Tama that Tama suffered from poisonous food and wanted to defeat Kaido. It's weird if Ace Didn't know that Tama suffered from poisonous food. Maybe Tengu wasn't present when Ace met Tama so Ace didn't know a out Tama situation.

Maybe. But it doesn't make a lot of sense, he already wanted to defeat him and bonded with her. He never needed any incentive like this to bond with people before. Why bring back his dead brother and why now? I can't help but think there is more to it.

right, i think the whole relation of ace-tama needs to make more points in the story, and not only to deepen luffy's bond with tama... we still can't say that's a plothole until the whole story is covered tho, at least till the end of this arc... remember that this arc is the very first arc that somehow got time-travel related thing in one piece, so imo at this point, anything could happen
ps : i would be pissed if there's actually nothing more point in ace-tama relation and tbh i think i would start to kinda doubt oda-sensei's writing skills (is he really miss ace so much that he would show him in the middle of the story out of nowhere with a really insignificant role??)

I agree, if the only point is bonding with Tama more for one arc, it will kinda be a bit excessive. I guess we will find out soon enough. Maybe she time travels to her 20s and joins our crew after all :D

How is it ridiculous ? It would be absolutely Impossible in the real world but on OP its easy as hell lol nobody is connected.
No it wouldn't. We have instances where entire countries deny the Armenian Genocide, an extremely tragic event. China itself denies the Tienammen Square massacre and that was only 30 years ago. Now, stretch that level of 1984 control to the entire world and over 800 years. Erasing history, when you don't want it to exist, is extremely easy when you are oppressive, power and mind controlling dictatorship

Media puppets too. That's a real world issue right now, especially in the US.

That was exactly my point.

My point was we are currently all connected. And it would be near Impossible to erase current, post internet history. OP is even worse than our real world as there are lots and lots of Islands where the majority of people dont know people from other areas.

imo it would be possible in our world because of the technology, in op world they only have newspaper and denden mushi, and i think they haven't had it yet during the void century

lol that would be great, but i would like to see some more of ace too... not because i miss him or smth like that, but because i just hope it wasn't just a random re-appearance for him without any foreshadowing, believe in GODA
