Honestly I am uncertain how Oda will handle Blackbeard but given how OP Imu is I don’t think it makes sense for BB to be suddenly become powerful and kill Imu .
Harley text even indicates sludgy fighting the devil so I don’t think it’s BB he will fight before they enter Laugh tale and BB will lose .

From the North, Akainu, splitting and melting the earth as he walks

BB’s crew isn’t fodder, they just aren’t built for direct confrontations. Instead they are built for underhand tactics and thievery, like real pirates. BB is always about catching the enemy off guard and kicking them when they are down. With all of the BBP stealth skills is a good chance they will arrive towards the end of the final war to try to gank WG or Straw Hats when they are all weakened from battle

Usually a crew offers only one or two powerful characters at best.
WG will taken down in multiple people coming together , Revolutionary is always there.
For marines , though I think fujitora will switch sides , for Kizaru , I was sure he will be done after Egghead but there nothing serious done to him (Or maybe something is already done and we don't know).
Fujitora is already expected to change sides.
Which leaves us with Akainu and Greenbull.
Or maybe Admirals will be taken down separately instead of dealing with then together.
