What do you think Ashura is.. CoA coating, CoC coating and CoO coating.. The logical progression..

Explain this..

Asura is Zoro manifesting his will as the demon God, that’s the explanation we got until further notice.

That attack is Zoro using his “Demon aura” to affect his swords. I wish he did that more often honestly

You’re going to have to explain CoO soul coating though lmao

possibly its the link of ur sword and soul together

replace soul with ' will ' here which is HAKI
the user prob overflows his sword with haki so much that the blade basically becomes a part of his body ( or soul )
maybe u also need conquerors haki to do the deed since coc is an overwhelming ambition

Seriously bro, Black Blades is the most overhyped boring ass discussion in this community.
@Mods Can you please create a tool where we can block certain words like BLACK BLADES.

Maybe to make the sword black, is to allign his ambitions with The sword pretty much a Awakening type for Swordsmans. Like the Zoan DF with the user

Don't forget the swords has their on will pretty much like the Zoan.

That's why Enma was testing Zolo

Black blades will always remain unanswered just like Advenecend CoC. Just like Luffy at one point just started using advanced CoC with zero explanations as to how it works, what's the difference of CoC and CoA etc. In the same manner in one of his epic fights Zoro's blade will turn into black with zero explanation as to why and how. How many times does it have to be repeated for you people to understand that stuff like that WILL NEVER EVER, UNDER NO SIRCOMSTACES BE ANSWERED. Because Oda or his staff have never thought it out, they never focused on a cohesive power structure, it's abstract, it's just in your imagination, Oda never explained and never will. Deal with it!

Rootbeer believes Zoro was using CoA and CoO unknowingly in Arlong Park but won’t believe that he has ACoC because “it’s too soon.” :milaugh:
Alabasta or Arlong Park what's the difference.. Luffy used CoO is Syrup village and CoA in Arlong Park so..

My main issue is that AdCoC is not a Swordsmanship related Skill.. CoA Hardened Blade is flowing Haki in.. AdCoC is Gathering an invisible layer around the Blade, it's not infused like CoA in Swords..

A black blade becomes a black blade when souls are forged into the weapon. But it can't just be any random souls from any random bandit, it's probably conditional like making a Death Scythe in Soul Eater. I also think the final step is that the swordsman himself has to die in battle and put part of themselves into the sword. Ryuma's sword is only black because he died in some epic way. Mihawk is either already dead somehow or Yoru is Rocks' old sword. Wado Ichimonji will turn black after Zoro dies at the very end and the sword gets taken back to Kuina's grave.

First Nefertari Buggy now this. Dawn & Dusk needs to stop stealing my theories. Just kidding, keep going until you make the Shanks Underworld Boss video.

this actually let me finish the idea. i think i get it now.

Ryuma forged his black blade when he died. His own soul left his body and is in the sword Shusui.

Mihawk is some kind of soulless walking corpse. He forged Yoru with his own soul but remains as a body animated by the soul of his blade until he's defeated. This is why Zoro said the Seraphim was "more human" than Mihawk.

Zoro will forge his black blade after he dies and meets Kuina on the Sanzu river in Yomi no Kuni. Kuina and him will cry together and decide that Zoro can't die until he accomplishes his goal. Kuina will thank him for carrying her will so far and then HER soul will physically join with Wado Ichimonji, turning it into a black blade, so Zoro can leave the underworld alive.
