Blackbeard’s villain potential is held back by his crew

Despite all the hype Blackbeard himself gets and despite the fact the bbp are easily the strongest emperor crew by way of having an ex admiral be apart of them they still don’t have final villain potential. That mainly because because of his crew outside of bb and Kuzan

The main 2 problems being shiryu and laffitte who are pretty likely to end up facing zoro and sanji. Sure they’ll be strong in their own rights but in the grand scheme they ain’t nothing in comparison to admirals or emperors

As they are Shiryu is likely around that zoro/yamato level and Laffitte around that sanji/king level. With them relying on hax that zoro and sanji will need to power up in some way to counter. Which is cool but they just not final villain material for zoro and sanji. Meaning due to them Blackbeard’s final villain potential also plummets in association

Take away Kuzan and his crew ain’t no more of a threat than shanks

At the same time Blackbeard himself still has a lot of potential when it comes to strength and the big things he’s going to do to disrupt the world
Same way shiryu and laffitte should be a level above king and queen respectively being comparable to Yamato and king instead the same should also apply to Blackbeard himself

Like if current Blackbeard along with the other emperors are around the same level as old healthy whitebeard then give him another fruit and put him on the level of prime whitebeard and the pirate king himself
He should be a level over kaido same way shiryu and laffitte should be a level over king and queen

Lowkey Blackbeard’s best hope is straight up just giving up on some of his crew

Blackbeard and his crew really could be the main antagonist or at least a major part of the elbaf arc. And if bb isn’t too careful he could go down with them

There’s a decent chance for all if not all the worst generation members arriving in elbaf. With how important the island seems to be there should also be some bbp representation as well. Especially if the man with the burn scar is also here

The crew is the main reason blackbeard is getting so many W right now and always find an alternative to progress to his goal. But sure they are holding him back because trust me bro. Lets also forget the crew saved blackbeard life in marineford by jumping oldbeard.

Besides Blackbeard and Kuzan who are already top tiers the rest of his crew doesn’t have top tier potential

Them mastering their current set of abilities isn’t going to put them there. Sure they’ll be stronger than king and queen but it’s likely not going to be by much either way. Even if they do get devil fruit weapons or something

Personally can’t see shiryu and laffitte being much stronger than zoro and sanji outside of annoying hax they’ll need to learn to overcome.

Every single member is New World Captain Material, thus Teach is the Captain of Captains (Commodore). Yes, Shiryu and Lafitte may not be Kaido and Big Mom (yet) but which pirate apart from Rocks D. Xebec has had 5 people like that as Senior Executives?

It just goes to show Xebec being the true GOAT. Roger, WB, Kaido, Big Mom, Shanks, Luffy, Buggy, Shiki, Law, Kidd - none of them have CoC-users left and right, up and below.

I fully expect BB and Luffy to get 2-4 CoC users in order to reach that PK-level. Xebec had 3 confirmed (likely 4 with Shiki). Roger had 3 for a small amount of time (Oden temporary, Shanks young). WB had 2 (but only 1 at a time). Kaido 1 (Yamato), Big Mom 1. Shiryu and Lafitte are of course candidates to have it.
