General & Others Blackbeard and Straw Hat Pirate similarities

i don't think this will age well. the roles, apart from sniper and swordsman, are not really combat related so they shouldn't matter, and they have never mattered in the story so far. some power scaling, similar abilties and backstories matter.
pizarro won't fight sanji, he is too weak. lafitte confidently threatened him when they entered the new world. the demon sheriff is stronger. pizarro was a king from the north blue? sanji isn't really identifying as a vinsmoke. he hates his psychopathic brothers and lafitte is also a psychopath, one with a lanky figure and stepdance skills (he kicks).
the 10th captian won't fight the last strawhat. the 10th captain will be a woman and fight nami, as she always fights women. it will be the equally greedy miss bakkin.
devon will obviously go up against yamato, both have mythical dog fruits. also identity issues. devon kills beautiful women probably because she is bitter about her own appearanc.e yamato wants to be different too, she wants to be oden.
pizarro's arms are not his most striking feature. he meows, he has feline eyes and so on. clearly a zoan user. might even be an animal that preys on deer. he will fight chopper.
doc q and brook share the death theme.
vaso shot is the heavy drinker, franky also drinks alot but cola and not sake.
robin and wolf both have paramecia's that make their bodies grow. wolf can make himself bigger, robin can grow her bodyparts everywhere. also there might be connections to tequilla wolf in both cases.

Something that I think is worth noting is that Laffitte is a former sheriff who was fired for police brutality. Nami is a thief who suffered because of corrupt authority like him
I think Nami vs Laffitte is the most likely matchup for her
I don't think Sanji's fighting Laffitte but I think Vivi will fight Pizarro. He was an evil king; she's a good queen. Makes perfect sense

10th is a wild card and we dont have matching number of members so far so its anyones guess. Maybe BBP lose a member before (Wolf?) so Sanji or Jinbe fight the 10th

Given how Doc Q’s powers contrast with Chopper’s dream, it really does seem like each of the BB captains are going to be a thematic foil to whichever Strawhat they fight. Pizarro’s epithet is literally “Corrupt King” and none of the official Strawhats contrast that description. Even Sanji actively rejects his heritage, so Pizarro doesn’t work as a matchup for him. Only Vivi really makes sense here imo
