Well, Vegapunk didn't really replicate Kaido's Dragon fruit but he chooses Lunarian blood as it's easier to replicate.

And even if York does replicate Nika somehow, I doubt the fruit would choose Teach as its holder.

The thematic choice would be Luffy's Sun vs Teach's Darkness.
