I would like to speculate blackbeard wants to revive rocks and rest who were killed in god valley from there grave using moriah and hogback he will reanimate theold nemesis.

This is why i think oda mentioned long back he will introduce the lurking legend who will be biggest threat.

Shanks probably got this info of blackbeard planning it so he warned gorosei about rocks revival .

There are some problems with this. BB didn't try directly to recruit Moria, Moria was recruited just because Absalom was on Beehive, killed and Moria come for revenge, at this point BB knew he is a former warlord so he could be a good asset (same for him now probably going after the other warlords).

Then reviving dead characters is generally lame, even if it is for Rocks it is a little bit different (he is not already introduced like other potential candidates like WB or Ace) and of course it would appear like a rip off of Naruto which will be laughable considering what OP and Naruto are, plus a rip off of the worst arc (imo Oda will avoid something like that like hell and the 4th ninja war in Naruto just confirms this).

Well a good point i think the plot will be repetitive other than that i dont see moriah as reliable ally .

So shanks talking about a "specific pirate" was talking about rocks? That would be interesting for sure.

Possible but I am not sure about this, it would be repetive as others said before.
Also Moria is sure to betray BB sooner or later to try to avenge Absalom's death. Teach has obviously not learnt his lesson with Ace if he continues trying to recruit people who have lost a loved one because of him.

Moria will probably still be on the show at EoS I wonder what his rule will feature about

Good point.. if he wanted Moriah, he could've tracked him down and probably even killed him to get his DF, rather than having his own subordinate, Absalom killed instead.

So yeah, Moria could be just merely a power asset to BB, given his Shichibukai background.
