This was a good setup episode, and a nice place to start this next part. I especially liked the scene with Shunsui and Ichigo's friends--it felt quite ominous.

I liked that they had the Quincy make the sky red since it's like a shadow covering the Seireitei. At least it's a valid reason to have it the colour since people will start complaining about it.
