Is it me or they way more interesting then the ones that will end up main rivals of PK crew. From katakuri to queen, captains like bm and kaidou, even underlings like headliners or ministers. BB pirates are boring and could care less about them.

BM pirates are the best imo. Their weird and unique food based devil fruits are just awesome.

Beast pirates aside from the Calamities and some headliners like Hawkins or Drake lack competence imo but that's fine.

BB pirates I think just need more screentime. I think some of them have the potential to be really good characters.

I didn't find the BM pirates very interesting.
Beast pirates too incompetent.
BB pirates on the other hand are bound to be SHs rivals which for me automatically puts them in the interesting cathegory

They are interesting and anyway Oda is still building them up like Catarina Devon with the myth fox devil fruit and Shiliew with the invisible df, and also how he get it. Alao BB has yet a plethora of things to do and one is probably take Kaido's zoan and that moment will be memorable (unless Oda wants him to complete his trinity with some other kind of zoan but I doubt that).

The only ""mistake"" is that now we are given plenty of BM and Kaido's dudes but I think everybody can agree that how BB made Ace, seeled him to the WG for the schikibukai role.. just so that he can go to Impel down do shopping and coming right back to end WB and steal his df was magnificent. While with Kaido and BM, even if they have some good stuff like character design, all you get is them trying to become more powerful through more conventional means which pales compared to BB backstabbing and cheating.

I find it odd that some claim BB Pirates are better characters just cause they'll end up as EoS villains.

I prefer the designs of Blackbeard pirates than Beast or BM pirates. Just much more cooler. As well as their chemistry it's not "brothers" or "sons and daughters" stuff, but nakama type. They feel like a legit pirate crew while Big Mom and Kaido feel like they run mafia families. Each individual's background is also highly interesting in the BB pirates.

Yea I have to agree with you. Big mom and Beast pirates are well-seasoned pirates. Plus they are straight-up real pirates not cowardly types like the BB crew. I think this arc could end up being the true peak of one piece. The war against BB could end up being low key small news in comparison to what we will get in Wano. The only war that could possibly match what is going on right now is the final war against the WG forces.

I honestly couldn't agree more
I'm not gonna lie though, I have a feeling that when it comes to Yonko crew like BB crew or Shanks crew, the mere talk about them in an ill way seem to provoke some political correctness where it's forbidden to suggest that those two crew to not be in EoS war or that another pirate crew for example to be the one Luffy defeats at last and that BB falls before him.

Or that after Im-sama put the knives on Teach and Luffy posters, the WG might eliminate Teach instead of Luffy fighting him.
Things like that honestly would be so much more interesting to me when the probabilities are up in the air and they shock us with some big events that was NOT expected rather than have a very expected scenario.

Although, I have to say that although when it comes to a crew, Big Mom Pirates are my favorites so far (excluding WB pirates) but as a Yonko captain, I have to say I'm liking Kaido more than Linlin, it's just I still cannot overcome the annoying "Weddddding Cake" Tantrum that she was having in WCI. Ugh, It made me so angry how many panels were wasted on it

I think the sheer number of commanders kind of offsets the quality of them(which is still extremely large if you consider that they have 10 guys, all probably worth upward of 400 million+ berry bounties. That's not a small commander crew set.

Burgess is definitely YC4/YC4+ lv, he managed to push DR Sabo around mid diff, people trashed Burgess for his performance but no veteran lv character would push a character like Sabo around mid diff, they would be low diffed by Sabo, especially Mera Sabo.
Even Pre-Mera Sabo was easily YC lv and given the possibility that Sabo has Ryuo as well, it is not unlikely that his powerlevel was pretty big even without the Mera fruit. That's why he'd low diff veterans even without his Mera powers.
