Sabo's Pre Final War bounty will likely get in the low billions, and Post War it shall depend on the politics.

Crocodile's two wins over Luffy came by way of Luffy not understanding Croc's advantage = sand power taking away the water inside Luffy. Once that advantage wasn't there anymore, Luffy knocked him out as Crocodile wasn't necessarily more powerful than Luffy.

The sheer power difference between Kaido (or Big Mom) and Luffy was pictured as immense and still should be. The storyline excuse of using a power (ACoC) for the first time an hour back and immediately being able to be on the same level as a guy who did it for decades seems very weird. Kaido fought as well in past decades against top level guys, probably more than Luffy.
I would have no problem with Luffy getting a bounty of 5 billion after beating Kaido, it's quite close to my 4.7b, but I simply criticize the whole topic from a storyline perspective as it's a deleopment that is far too rushed. At this point after being declared by media as being the fifth Yonko he should now prove that he's starting to close the gap, but not completely doing so.

The Katakuri fight wasn't many months ago, maybe one month. The story we've seen in One Piece does actually happen in a very short amount of time with the two year time-skip being a gigantic time period in comparison. It just feels like many months :D

But he hasnt closed the gap to have 4 or 5 billion. Kaido has fought many people who have weakened him.

We can see ACoC as a sword and without it, a naked hand. Once you have ACoC or the sword, you can already pierce or cut anyone, but your ability with it is still not top, but the power it already is. Besides, concetrating your haki to your attacks is something Luffy already learned with AdCoA, so it is not bad if he could apply the same with ACoC.

Shanks main ship is stronger than any yonko main ship, the same way straw hats eow might beat kaido ship(since kaido's personal ship won't have any of the calamities). shanks did not fight with whitebeard the same way kaido did not fight with shanks

Kaido foreshadowing: Shanks as the worthy opponents being able to fight him.

Why wouldnt he if th evidence says they did? We dont know when or where, maybe when Kaido went to Marineford, we dont know for sure.

Above a billion is a given tbh tho I hope 1.6B. What he did was insane going to where the CD are and attacking and fighting two admirals. Sabo should be viewed as dangerous threat to the WG by now.

The reason it's there is because just how low the other members of the Rev Army are the WG doesn't see them as much of a threat compared to Yonko

I would assume Oda gave them this story and mission in general is just to make them more relevant obviously, but also to increase their notoriety and current low bounties.

they may even lower his bounty
they think he is a very big dude (almost size of a giant) that is able to make biscuit copy of him self
if they know that he is just a tall dude that with very very low endurance they may even make it lower
