Thats old news. When a character who was introduced back in the start of the series and was portrayed stronger than Shanks and has a title of WSS it's just disgrace to give him such small bounty. If you are feeling better believing the power level thing sure but lets be honest except from cases such as buggy etc bounties are a clear way to portray someone's status and strength
Sanji did nothing in Wano to suddenly have 1B+ bounty. If we assume that CP0 saw/know all the fights that happened all he did was to defeat Queen an thats all and if Oda decides to give him more than 800-900M he would do it only for Sanji to dont be very much behind Zoro. Feat wise he doesnt deserve it.
In your opinion. Even if you don’t feel he deserves it which you are free to the narrative absolutely points to both zoro and sanji having over 1 billion beri. We ain’t just go through a whole arc of oda throwing these narratives of being the wings of the pirate king in our face for that to amount to nothing. Also oda has never really assigned bounties based on strength and feats alone as if that were the case mihawk would have the same bounty as shanks or similar or doflamingo would have prolly a billion as well but we all know that’s not possible as they were part of the shichibukai and their bounties got frozen as a result. Narrative is everything and that’s also the reason why sanji got an upgrade in wci despite beating no one of notoriety there.
Feat wise is irrelevant here as bounties are not based on feats cuz if that were the case I believe luffy should have a wayyyyy higher bounty than law and kidd but that didn’t happen. Because of the same thing i just said “narrative”. He’s always going to prioritize the narrative of the plot over feats and strength cuz at the end of the day that’s the grading scale he uses. This is not to say feats are not important as they help to scale characters and I believe power scaling is necessary at times but in the case of bounties feats really are useless or rather partially useless as they don’t acquit for a lot.
