Cross guild isn’t going to fight the rest of the emperors for the final poneglyph
Mihawk already insinuated luffy, shanks, and Blackbeard will all fight at the same time

At most I see Mihawk being involved for Zoro in the end (whomever is left standing), but really thats it. To me the problem with CG is currently it is comprised of 2 former villains who ideally pose little threat to a Yonko. Even if they get Moria or Doflamingo (which imo is happening), the same thing applies.

Theres really nothing redeeming about that group save for Mihawk in terms of endgame viability outside of memes.

I argue anyone getting One Piece before the MC entirely ruins the idea of finding One Piece and becoming PK in the first place.

Nah, as long as Luffy becomes the pirate king Ive never seen a problem with someone becoming the pirate king for a short amount of time first.

The way I see it is cross guild doesn’t need to be as strong as the other emperors to be just as much of a threat tho. I don’t think it’d be a straight up war between the 2 crews cause in that case yeah the strawhats stomp but again there are other ways they can pose a threat.

Which is a big reason I’m such a fan of them having a Davy back fight. Yeah they don’t stand a chance in a straight up war but they can still make them struggle and get mini victories along the way. Them being a threat doesn’t have to mean their crew is just as strong
Mihawk vs zoro will probably be the only legit legit fight between both crews. It’d probably be one of the deciding victories too

Plus a donut race but with them actually able to use their main ships would be hype and a great moment for the sunny

People forget that luffy not becoming pirate king not only means he failed but the crew as a whole failed
Also the fact the pirate king automatically goes to the captain of the first crew that found the one piece. Luffy or anyone else finding it after buggy isn’t going to also become pirate king at the same time. Even if we say luffy becomes pirate king a week after buggy it’s going to loose a lot of it meaning automatically
