Powers & Abilities Can logia control their element found in nature

Logia can turn their body into their element , they can create and control that creation.

Bur what if they find their element in nature can they take control over it .

For example can Aokiji take control over ice found in nature or Crocodile control sand in desert, or Akainu control magma from natural volcano ?

Does manga have any example of those ?

Doesn't Crocodile manipulate the sand in the desert in his first fight vs Luffy? Been a while since I watched it but if my memory is right, that's what he did.

Desert Sunflower isn’t like this crocodile it’s just a use of desert spada. It doesn’t create the quick sand but the cut from spada cuts so deep it creates a ravine the sand naturally sinks into to make the sand quick sand.

Nah I don’t think oda even had the concept of awakening back then.

I’m assuming his awakening would basically be him using ground secco completely passively

Yes they can. Crocodile shown us that when he’d manipulate the sand terrain.

Akainu would probably have to jump into the magma or connect with his own property to get in touch to be able to control it.

Kuzan if in a ice wonderland he can do anything
