You don't need to touch to do damage with Raime Hakke infused with adv CoC. Luffy wasn't prepared for that, and he still dodged it enough, while being off guard.
When Luffy was prepared in 1010, he:
dodged an attack coming from behind so fast it looked like he teleported
turned around blocked the attack
did a backflip sending him 20-30 metres back,
speedburst to close the distance
and attacked Kaido
All before Kaido could properly react, performing multiple actions in the time Kaido was performing one.
Luffy is a speedster, when Oda wants to show it off, like he also did when Killer lost track of Luffy while the others were sitting around.

Dude, for real. When you will understand that Kaido let himself get hit? Why Luffy only that all that at 1010 but not at 1011 and lost the battle at 1013? If he is faster than Kaido and is toe to toe because of coating conqueror shit why did he lost?

That's mostly a durability feat in my opinion yeah. Law's stat has turned fairly impressive. Luffy took Ragnarok but that was most likely weaker than Boro Breath since Boro Breath would cover G4 Luffy's face in blood. Law didn't take the full force of TB probably, but this extremely astonishing nonetheless.
