Do you think Sabo can control fire like fire benders or only control fires he created? If I remember correctly crocodile controlled the sand in arabaster.

A Logia power can create, control and transform into their element by definition.
Oda even expanded on the Mera Mera's abilities in an SBS and how Hiken works.
He said Ace generates that much fire power in his fist after transforming so that's where all the fire comes from.
And the Mera Mera user probably also has a certain degree of control over fire like Crocodile did in Alabasta.

If we're using Fire Force analogy, Sabo would be the third generation of Pyrokinetic. Meaning that he can creates fire but not control it.

At least not from other fire users.

Second generation can control fire but can't create flame.

Draw wasn't even drawn by Oda so maybe Oda just didn't really have that much involvement with him which is why his powers are so weird

Different logia has different control. Crocodile can control existing sand but Kizaru haven't shown to control existing light. Some might not even control elements they create that is outside the extension of their body.

IIRC Ace was only shown in anime to control fire outside his body.

I don't think we have seen any character control an already existing flame

I kinda expected at first for King to be able to do it due to his Lunarian heritage but even that didn't happen.

Sabo might do it as a future power-up maybe

@comrade I believe so, just like Kaidou has total control over his special flames derived from his mythical Devil Fruit, which allows him to transform into a legendary creature like a dragon and use these flames to manipulate them and create a massive avatar in the form of a blazing dragon. This grants him the ability to easily destroy islands, burn gigantic objects with a simple touch, and ultimately generate destructive power that can match a punch in terms of destructiveness and potency, which can be felt from a thousand miles away for X amount of time.
