Well not all communist regime led to genocide. Probably it happened in Stalin's regime.
My uncle , grandfather liked communism because the work timing were fixed , only problem were they wanted their own business which was forbidden .
It's also true you can never attain happiness because the politicians were corrupt and mismanaged the economy that was main reason it failed
Brezhnev was the reason CCCP and the satellite saw decline in economy. Gorbachev was garbage leader but he saw the real problem of soviets and introduced glasnost and perestroika then the nationalist movement began in Muslim countries and parts of eastern europe.
Overall soviet was not that bad but food shortage and misgoverence by local leader lead to downfall. System was not perfect.

You say not all communist regimes killed people but the ones that did killed more than all the wars in the last century, and we have a system that doesn't directly motivate killing while giving you freedom to pursue and achieve a life you want.

I didn't dismiss anything, it's true capitalism has room for improvement and things are far from perfect, but it's far better than communism which is what this thread is about, comparing capitalism to communism, if you ask me though as I said before in this thread the best system imo is a mix between capitalism and socialism.

I don't know how many die of hunger in cuba but I know food shortage is a problem for alot of the population, poor planning by the government is to blame, something like that would not happen in a free market.

It's an island with not enough natural resources who suffered an economical embargo from one of the strongest nations worldwide since the freaking Cold War. Oh geez, I wonder how they aren't the most developed nation ever. They definitely only have themselves to blame.
