Kidd is firmly in last place right now but here's one thing: check out his hand positions during Slam Gibson. Bringing his hands straight down wouldn't give Kaido that funky contortion where he lands on his back, so it may be something more complicated than a simple over the shoulder and Oda just didn't make it clear
Killer is outperforming Kidd so far, but Zoro is definitely not.
Luffy is the only one on the roof to make Kaido bleed, has been taking most of the agro and this chapter set up three attacks from others with his rifle and saved Killer's life.
A slow easy to dodge shot is worthless if it doesn't hit and Zoro's fast attacks are too weak to do anything but scatter debris around.
Kid and Luffy are the only confirmed CoC users, so until that changes they will be probably the ones to be doing the majority of the fight in the endgame, mostly Luffy.

Right now regardless of second place, Kidd has yet to begin his competition with Luffy. I do believe it's coming, it just involves much more creativity with his power. He will bloom mid fight like Luffy does, and here Luffy will go through a cycle of rising and wilting. That's perfect for the pace of their rivalry
