The title says it all, what are some characters that the manga treats as if we are supposed to admire and respect them, but that you don't find respectable or even likeable at all ?
I'd say Roger doesn't really inspire any admiration or respect to me, the dude who screamed about freedom but was also willing to murder an entire country army just for them disrespecting his crewmates and him working for the defense of the Celestial Dragons at God's Valley.
Garp is supposed to be a hero of the Marines, yet he's also irresponsible, keep serving the Celestial Dragons regime despite his supposed hatred of them and is a horrible, neglectful and abusive grandfather to his grandsons who greatly led to them becoming pirates.
Oden who's unjustly worshipped by so many characters despite him not deserving anything of it, and whose stupity caused so much suffering for his country and family, with the cringeworthy addition of doing that retarded naked dance.
Yasopp who's treated as a hero by his son even though he abandoned him and his sickly mother.
