She rekt a special grade curse in one hit. Those are not fodder curses. And she has the portrayal backing her up.


Idk if Choso beats her or nah, haven't read the new chapter yet, but Mei Mei is strong and most often underrated rather than overrated.

She is vastly overrated. She has no impressive feats, she kept clearing fodder curses during Shibuya and depended a lot on her brother's power.

Choso clears her, dunno about difficulty but he does. With brother it will be a bit longer, with no brother, faster.

I just named her portrayal and feats and they are definitely impressive. She is underrated. Ui Ui is there to move fast and distract domains. She does all the fighting.


I need to see how Kenjaku treats Choso before deciding on the match up. He showed respect for Mei Mei.

Choso is his failed experiment + Kenjaku is a step away from merging with Tengen. There was never going to be respect shown to him. Plus, Kenny is confident and arrogant in his plan and abilities, which means that in a situation like this where your next oponent is one of the 4 Special Grade sorcerers you're ofc going to play with and taunt your disappointment of a son

Mei mei is tough because we know she’s strong but she doesn’t push herself too hard (like kusakabe) I’m sure If she actually fought kenjaku instead of leaving she would do about as well as choso, but choso is more central to the story and has more drive/ a better cursed technique overall so he takes it.

If it's portrayal vs Kenjaku then there's no way to include Mei Mei at all. We never saw even a single blow being exchanged between the two, and afterwards we see Mei in Bangkok right?

We can surmise from how prepared Kenjaku was, pulling out a stronger curse and even a special grade curse.

That's true, we only know that they managed to get away to Malaysia using Ui Ui's technique and apparently almost got killed per Mei Mei, but have not really retained any notable injuries.

He says a grade 1 like you. Not all grade 1 sorcerers are equals. It's arguable that he's talking about only Choso.



Anyway as he is now I still don't see anything giving Choso the win here. He will most likely now get a 'brothers boost' and power up, which I guess should be enough to give him the win here though. But Mei Mei is definitely underrated.
