Hard to say. As I said many chapters ago Gorosei goal was always to stop the transmission. Now they did the arc should be over already. They have no need to rush a war against Strawhats now. But who knows? Oda forced that fight against Gorosei...

Topman is just really durable.

Venujsuro doesnt have Topmans durability.

The thread purpose is asking why block an attack if you're an immortal being with infinite regen hax, when no Gorosei has been shown to block an attack till now.

Same Gorosei who tank attacks because they're too lazy to move, and also dive bomb into barriers that would he considered suicide for other characters.

Either way, Nasjuro casually cut the top of the egghead dome from kilometeres away with a single slash but he charged up a point blank attack to cut the sunny. Zoro managed to completely nullify the attack and equally clashed with Nasjuro when he was pumping even more haki into Shodai

Oda just wanted to draw a cool sword clash thats all, you guys are reading way too much into this.
