You're basing his growth from MF onwards off his bounty but he didn't achieve any major feat to gain it. They simply said oh shit it's Crocodile with his logia powers (had this in MF), leadership (not individual strength), intelligence (had this in MF/not strength).

In general, Logias are the strongest as they have been used as benchmarks to compare Gura Gura no mi. Mythical zoan's are a close second as we got only 8 of them and four of those are consumed by characters like Luffy, Kaido, Marco, Sengoku, etc. I had high hopes for ancient zoans, but they turned out to be trash.

Its not a coincidence that most admirals have logia devil fruits. World Government probably has access to the source of devil fruits (some theorize that Marijoa was built on top of the Adam tree which is the source of all devil fruits) or they have ways to acquire them. Its a similar situation how Spandam got a hold of Kaku's devil fruit through connection. That means the World Government kept the best fruits for its top fighters which happens to be mostly logia.

No mention of Caesar? Give a more competent character Caesar’s fruit + a chemistry class and he’ll be able to play god, that fruit has so much potential. He neg diffed characters like Luffy and Smoker by removing the oxygen. There’s no real defense against it, not even haki. It’s so busted that Luffy had to resort to using long-range moves outside of its area of effect.

Mythical Zoans are better they don't fall into a single category. They grant you an array of abilities that could fall under the Logia and Paramecia umbrella on top of already enhancing your stats.

Defense wise yes but offense wise it's piss poor outside of just elementals though? Let's not pretend like Kaido did not have almost maxed out Haki (except Internal Destruction) to compensate.

The difference is the Goro Goro or the Pika Pika gives insane offense, speed, lethality, range, destruction & the best logia intangibility you can get. Ofcourse df mastery is tied into it, I'm not gonna pretend like those fruits would be nearly as good in the hands of someone like Caribou or something, but the difference in what they provide to what Kaido's df provide given one can spend time & master them is vast.

While Logia's only need basic armament Haki to iniure them.

Kaido's fruit Offense- it gives you increased physical strength as well as fire breath and lightning attacks

Kaido's fruit also gives you flight.

Kaido's fruit is the best fruit for anyone that eats it.
