Powers & Abilities CoC is basically going to be a requirement for characters to stay relevant from here on out

Lone survivor of his hometown’s destruction

Savior of Goofy in Marineford arc

The catalyst for turning gears of New World

The MVP against takedown of a Yonko chasing after Goofy

Clashed with another Yonko and made the Fleet Admiral shit his pants

All this without CoC, just DF, his knowledge and wits. Goofy carried by Law’s leadership in the alliance, without him there would be no getting to Zoa, Doffy wouldn’t be in life-support mode, Kaido would still come after Doffy regardless. Had to clean up after Goofy’s mess in bringing BM to Wano by sending her down a hole. Law not having CoC is just a way for Oda to nerf him actively

The thing is tho.

Law needed Kid's help to merely have a situational victory over Big Mom. He never actually clashed with her or had to overpower her, like Luffy did, but only landed his hits via sneak attack.

He also started off the fight against Teach going all out with awakening, whereas teach was barely serious. Teach beat Law without using any of his top moves, which had he used them would have caused damage on a global scale.

All of which is to say, if Law doesn't get CoC then he basically caps at admiral level.

Law should get CoC tho. He is ultimately a 3 billion berry pirate captain. If he wants to remain a captain and protect his crew from the yonko, he will need to develop a kingly disposition.

It should also be noted that Law's mentor when he was young was Doflamingo, who was a conqueror.

What Oda will probably do is greatly expand on CoC in elbaf.

Luffy will get the ability to negate the yami
Zoro will get observation haki killing

Law will just get entry level ACoC(what Zoro currently has), allowing him to keep up but not be overpowered.

Eh kinda
Well at least when it comes to luffy’s opponent a majority of them will end up also being conquerors

The point of other conquerors is lowkey just to hype luffy. Them either “bowing” to him by becoming supporters to his greatness or being an enemy needed to be defeated and overwhelmed by luffy

Hasn’t this always been the case. Skysplit ACoC > ACoC > CoC. Zoro and Nasujuro both have ACoC, but their clash didn’t split the sky. Kaidou and Yamato clashed but Yamato couldn’t split the sky with Kaidou and had to use her mirror armor to overcome the difference in their power.

Chicken and hen problem.
Is CoC required to become strong, or does being strong result in CoC?

Until Oda explicitely states that its not the case I will assume that CoC can be reach by anyone.
