Oh no:
Lilo and Stitch is a movie that makes a ton of sense to put into a Live Action. The CGI is very focused to just the alien characters, making it easy to do a good job if the effort's put in, and the core of the story is very marketable.
Soooooooooooooooo many people who don't watch actual cartoons anymore have no idea who this character is despite being one of Disney's best, most consistent properties.
This isn't Lion King or Dumbo, where everyone knows the original movie, and is like "WTF did they make Simba a real Lion?"
Lilo and Stitch being one of Disney's last 2D animations REALLY hurt it, sadly, so, I hope this film does a lot for the series.
The Animated TV series was a lot of fun, too, IMO. I loved the Halloween episode.

Back in the early 2000s Disney actually did more with their properties be it shows, games, books etc etc now it just pumps out movie after movie
