I don't think it honestly matters and this has been twisted motivated reasoning since the beginning.

I am not sure where to rank BM tbh. I was going to rank her below luffy but from it seems luffy needs to go to G5 if he wants to beat any top tier and will gas out before doing it. BM can at least hold her own against a top tier and doesn't have BS time limit.

I think its better to judge once Kizaru and akainu go full all out. We do not know whether they will have awakening or adv coc and they will make huge difference in how they get ranked. Luffy himself can get better feats in elbaf.

For now --

--Akainu ( Adv coc + awakening)
--Kaido/Akainu/Kizaru (Only logia awakening)
--Akainu (If he gets neither adv coc or awakening)
--Kizaru (No awakening)/Big mom
--Current Luffy (due to G5 timelimit)

Luffy could fight with Kaido even without G5, Kaido even acknowledged him as being first in a long time to truly fight him toe to toe.

This would put Luffy well above base Big Mom, so even with time limit, he should be able to beat her with G5

Do you honestly believe after witnessing all the feats, portrayal, statements of both Luffy and Big Mom in Wano, that under the same circumstances, Big Mom would be able to wear/damage/push Kaidou as far as Luffy could? We've seen everything those 3 characters had to offer.

I feel like we're reading a different manga.
