Powers & Abilities Could you imagine being an admiral and your counterparts turn into and/or control Magma, Ice, Light, & Gravity. Then you turn into a tree?

The interesting thing about Greenbulls powers is that they theoretically have much more potential than the others in the realm of versatility. This guy is able to sprout all manner of flora and plants, those with their own set of properties. Since plant life is actually living, I imagine that his connection to what he creates is deeper than the other Admirals who spawn lifeless elements. He could revitalize and heal himself through photosynthesis and possibly be capable of sensing any creature that traverses the habitat that he creates. Also, Oda could reach into the mythical bag with what possible plants he could create that have varying effects. He kind of did that when Greenbull started absorbing the nutrients from the bodies of the Beast pirates, that mimics the mythical Jubboko tree. With access to all of nature he can utilize poisons, toxins, paralysis, spores, fungi, as well as sprouting trees and plants that are resistant to fire and ice, which actually exists in both mythology and real life. The options are endless, it just depends how far Oda is willing to go with it.
I think Greenbull compensates by being the best at using his DF.

- Phenomenal casual terraforming rivalled/surpassed only by Kuzan
- Trained himself to be fireproof
- Literally drains life like King Ghidorah
- Only Admiral or indeed logia user other than Enel to have a giant monster form
Also, you're downplaying his survivability via regen. He's got a lot of potential for sneaky plays.

His fruit has to have more to offer. He’s the only one with a glaring weakness. It’s supposed to be a logia but can be damaged by fire or just cut by blades.

Anyway, I agree It Is the most lackluster in theory.
That's why he has the sword.

Anyway, you know the meaning: he Is saying he Isn't "wood", he Is a wider concept.
That's why he can grows flowers for example.
Even his fruit name is not wood wood, but "Forest Forest". The whole forest.
Same as Aokiji who Is not ice, but "cold", and that's way he can suck heat out of things and not just produce ice.
I think the best part of his fruit is that he's completely connected to plant life as a whole. Like he can straight up use nearby plants to grow new bodies and what not. I don't think that's something that the other Admirals can do, and it makes it much harder to beat him since you need to completely eliminate every plant in his vicinity or he'll almost always come back.

Ryokugyu power might turn out my favorite logia tbh concept wise, personification of mother nature, forest human not just simple wood, that can encompass a whole bunch of things
Mastery over it also having a tool to counter ignition, as he said he wouldn't have made it to admiral rank if he had such an obvious weakness at disposal, fireproof forest is a cool ability
