Craftsdwarf's recent video is discussing Zoro and Sanji's views on Women and I want to discuss some ideas he brought up.
( Note: I'm just starting a discussion. It does not mean I agree with the ppints made. In fact I disagree with a lot of these points but the ideas are still interesting enough to discuss.)
He explains the usual thing with Sanji projecting his mother and sister onto all women and that's fine and dandy but what he says about Zoro is what's interesting.
Craftsdwarfs posits that Zoro has an inferiority complex when it comes to fighting women because a woman beat him 2000 times first of all, and then told Zoro that the only reason he would beat her isn't because of his actual hardwork but because he was a guy.
Essentially Kuina invalidated ALL of Zoro's hardwork and said if Zoro wasn't born a certain way he couldn't achieve certain things and then Kuina died before Zoro could even prove her wrong. This left Zoro with a shadow of doubt regarding the value of his actual hardwork and training if simply born with genetic advantages like being a man is what actually made him strong. This leads to the conclusion that at one point Zoro might find that he DOESN'T have the genetic advantages to overcome a certain other hurdle and all his hardwork could literally amount to jack shit.
Craftsdwarf concludes that Zoro has problem fighting women ESPECIALLY when they are weaker than him because it sort of reminds him that he's stronger than them out of pure luck of being a guy and not because he earned his strength. This is apparently why he didn't finish off Tashigi in Loguetown and Monet in Punk hazard because even winning these fights is itself a reminder that he couldn't win against kuina.
He concludes that Zoro has this kind of inferiority complex when it comes to fighting women where even actual victory in his mind negates the hardwork he put into obtaining that victory since Kuina essentially proved that he was just lucky being born a man.

Craftsdwarfs includes a few theories that are very much up in the air.
1. He says Zoro is so traumatised by this Kuina business that he actively avoids staircases. He avoided stairs in Ennies Lobby preferring to just cut holes in the floors above him and jumping to the next floor. He also avoided stairs in Dressrosa multiple times and even at one point fixing an elevator to use instead of climbing the stairs the were right next to the broken elevator.
2. He says Zoro has to get over his inferiority complex by either accepting that the world is unfair and people can be born with genetic advantages that hardwork can't actually overcome OR he will have to fight a woman seriously but it can't be a weak woman or else the victory doesn't fix anything. The candidate Craftsdwarf brings up in this regard is Smoothie, the second commander Swordswoman who was born with those good Big mom genes so Zoro will instead be on the back foot on the genetics front and actual hard work in combat will be the deciding factor.
What do you guys think about all this?
