The anime (2006 - 2008 I think) had some filler, especially in the first half
We got D.Gray Man hallow in 2016
They skipped the mini arc where Kanda and the rest became children and started with the reveal of the 14th (Cross and Allen’s dialogue)
Hallow only covered the Alma arc and Allen's escape from the Order
I think they cut some parts out
