focusing on stuff that u love and cheer you up would help alot. for me it was my favorite band
also I try to spend more time with my family, doing activities with them to not have time to overthink about negative stuff
it was hard at the start but everything get better with time

Music has definitely been a huge boon throughout my life...helps take you out of your own thoughts for a second, makes you feel physically good as well as spiritually, and is as familiar and comforting as a warm, heavy blanket. More than anything, I feel like that’s been the most effective way for me to escape, and it sounds like that’s true for you as well 😊

In the past I've had more bouts of at times crippling anxiety and OCD, but not the kind where you do rituals mostly seen in the popular imagination, but mostly one that is purely mental in nature, what is colloquially referred to as Pure O, for obsessions but without the overt compulsions, hence the "O" for purely obsessions. That one was a real bitch! I feel you brother, such times are fucking tough!

This guy, check him out. I'm telling you, if there is any person on earth than can change anyone's perspective on life and adversity, it's this guy. Just listen to this interview and let me know what you think. I can guarantee you he will inspire you to another level! He sure did me!

I also have grow to admire the group members too so just watching stuff about them or listening to their music also cheer me up ^^

I find music no different than art.

Just like art, music allows you to appreciate and contemplate the world in all its forms and shapes.

...and it's also pretty catchy

I mean I'm really just sad for the victims and kinda scared for my older family, and really angry at my government, OMS, Bolsonaro (two sides of the same coin, one saying health is the only important thing and the other is literally wanting to coerce people to go to work), Trump, FUCKING CHINA COMMUNIST PARTY.

But ouside of that, I'm still working so my life has not changed at most. Just a boredom on work because it's a tourist area, but as I tend to accommodate to changes really, really well, I'm cool

And I still go to my friends house which is right in front of mine, and my colleagues are all my age, so I'm cool socially too. But I know many people are suffering from this, principally policeman, hospital workers, etc. And obviously the family, friends of those who die (and those who die)

Ah depression, it's been a while since I heard that word:brootea::yodaswag:I don't know about you guys but as a 16 years old teen myself I definitely can related to this issue especially during the quarantine right now. I have never gone through depression before since I rarely show emotion lol. I don't really smile or laugh a lot but I also never been angry or sad too often. Basically, spend more time with your family, stay fit and healthy. Watch some funny memes on the Internet, listen to some relaxing music, don't stress or overthink about yourself or other too much.

I've never been in Depression, I'm to strong mentally to be depressed by samthing. I'm one of those guys that don't care/worry to much and if world ends I will enjoy the seen with popcorn, I guess it's due to my live experience since I've been through some crazy shit and that made me who I am today.
Yeah, I thought that too. Till you live long enough that you start seeing people close to you die off one by one.

Depression is a normal feeling (and not sadness but depression) and most people will experience it at some point in their life. If you don't feel depressed once in a while, you're probably a psycho. The problem is when it becomes clinical, and lasts for more >1 year.

David D goggins came up rough in the fishman district as half-fish half giant (wotan). He got called half breed every day of his life, not being fully accepted by those of his own because of his lack of fishman features. With Fisher Tiger not there to protect him from the ridicule and the bullying he suddenly realized one day that he was on his own.

He started working out harder than ever before like it was nobody's business. He joined Neptune's army because he wanted to find pride in himself and got into the special programs, but realized that despite his grit that with him being half giant that he was negatively buoyant which put a lot of strain on him with the fast swimming in deep sea currents requirements too challenging for someone of his constitution. As a result he quit the program and started going to the gym to start lifting heavy weights again as that was what he was good at. He started doing what was easy and become a soft-ass unk inside.

But one day after years of weight gaining he looked in the mirror at what a buffed up piece of shit muscle head he had become, scared of the deep water, and decided to o go back to the special forces to commence the torturous training required of him to become HARD. After years and years of training he received his 100 Dan fishman karate black belt, the ocean churning in his wake, the sea kings rumbling GOGGINS, GOGGINS, GOGGINS!!! The guy is neither fish nor fowl - he's just GOGGINS!!
