As I said, they don't "need" hype lol. Their sleezy antics are going to be the shit that gives the crew trouble.

You know what has been the most common excuse I've seen for them fighting and winning? Is that they cheat to win.

How does that actually hype them in any case lol.

All I'm saying is that if Sabo, Law and Garp can make them look silly (even if the latter two lost by essentially being ganged up on), I'm not sure how we can justify Shanks, the literal godfather of broken haki, not make Blackbeard also look silly without him "cheating".

This is half the reason I expect a battle royale type clash between the Yonko in the least, because there's really no justifying their crews fighting in a way that logically states Blackbeard's crew can defeat Shanks'


Edit: Let it be known that fucking Aokiji by himself wrecked half his crew too lol.

I get what you mean, but I genuinely can’t imagine oda keeping the BB pirates looking this pathetic. And with how they’re portrayed as the big rivals of the straw hats and the epitome of dreams for the story I think there’s enough justification for oda to sacrifice a crew he’s built up as strong but narratively minor outside of Shanks.

Its teach that will beat Imu when luffy will be fighting Akainu .
Something like that . Mihawk can switch place with teach .
It is possible that when luffy defeat teach Zoro is not yet the strongest swordmans and beat mihawk after the main war .
It is also possible that mihawk get beat by someone else and zoro fight for the title vs someone else . SO MIhawk is the harder one to call .

The problem with Shanks is Oda has to find away to get rid of him when the SHs are facing the BB pirates, because 2 Yonko crews would dog-walk 1 Yonko crew. So either Oda writes them out through a defeat to hype up the SH's main enemies, or he finds some other distraction for Shanks to occupy (the Gorosei, the God Knights maybe?)
My dream scenario is Luffy vs Shanks, Zoro vs Mihawk at Laughtale tho, would be cool, but don't know how the hell could that even happen
