Powers & Abilities Did G4 became irrelevant with Awakening

#21
I think the next opponents are above emperor level (Im and Blackbeard) unless Oda wants Luffy to to toy with an Admiral
At this point G4 is too much for everyone not named Kaido

I think it's just because Luffy is already really really tired and was close to death
I know but people are already expecting some kind of limits since that is what oda is used to doing. every single strawhats don't have a limit on their powerup, but luffy must have one.

Remember back when G2 was special? Then in Post Timeskip it became interchangeable with Base Luffy?

G3 then was still special untill WCI and even Further in Wano

Now G4 will suffer the same fate, we will barely be able to notice the difference in power between Base Luffy and G4 despite G4's Potrayal in earlier Arcs

Because without limit Luffy's PU are busted
Current unlimited G4 could potentially beats everyone
G5 will probably have a stamina limit

G2 is still a huge speed boost
G3 an huge AP boost
And Luffy Can stack them

In theory it should be over, because Kaido's words imply that once you're Awakened, you're fully "developed" (regarding DF powers, not Haki).
It doesnt exist something as: low Awakening master's degree, mid Awakening master's degree, high Awakening master's degree, full Awakening master's degree. You have a full master degree on your devil fruit powers once you Awakened, from the start.

Therefore, G4 won't make sense from this point. Or at least it shouldn't.

then he should not make luffy to op just to put limits. But if he put limit on awakening that would be stupid since everyone we know does not have a limit on their awakening

Luffy has surpassed his limits 6 or 7 times already in this fight- that is why it is vaguely "cutting into his lifespan", not because his awakening will always do that.

Anyway to the thread: No, G4 will become more casual and less stamina draining now that he is an awakened mythical zoan fruit user.

He has already used G3 and G2 techniques in G5, no reason why he won't be able to use G4 techniques as well.

Draining life span would be stupid, it's not really a drawback and even if it were it would only apply at the EOS which wouldn't be relevant.

G4 will still be used when G5 isn't needed, Goku still uses SSJ1/2/3 etc

And Luffy already sort of uses G4 alongside G5, G4 is expanding the muscles which Luffy did against Kaido in G5.

G5 is the next level of g4, as you all can see Luffy rn can bulk up real good in his g5 form even better than in g4, so immo he will still fight normally, using g2, g3, g4 till g5awakening depending on the situation and how hard he needs to fight. We will find out more about luffys g5 drowbacks because there is no way all that rubber spamming isnt taxing his body like g2 and etc.

I think that Gear 4th to Luffy is like KOH style to Zoro(actually even comparable strength wise) wherein if they gain the Haki pool as well as haki control level(Ryou) of top tiers the time limit will become irrelevant for both but in the case of Luffy with the awakening which he will still access some aspects even in base

I think Luffy will be able to use gear 4th on specific body parts until he gets the top tier level haki pool and control
