Current Events Did Imu get hurt by Wifi-Haki, or something else?

While I think Imu isn't the final villain which I explained in a thread with 7 reasons, this might not be the same Wifi-Haki moment between Shanks and Greenbull.

If Joy Boy was at a level that he can simply hurt Imu with Wifi-Haki, then Imu is simply too weak to compete with EoS Teach level opponents.

This might be something else,

We know 5 Elders all having abilities similar to DF Mythical Zoans not 1 of them has Logia or Paramecia, and also all has regeneration ability, and summoning ability are all shown to be different, and they all kneel before Imu, and they also all have telepathic connection with each other, so that my assumption is, somehow Imu's and 5 Elders powers are tied together, and they are all connected with each other in a different way. It could be that if Imu is the power source of 5 Elders, and they draw power from Imu as well as their immortality so they are loyal to Imu. Which means its a different dynamic than a regular boss and underling relationship.

Thats why when 5 Elders ability were suppressed by superior Haki, Imu probably felt the Haki directly through them. If Imu got hurt by wifi-Haki, I don't know how Oda will balance the power levels from now on.

I agree, i think this Scene does indeed Confirm that Gorosei are tied to Imu, their Powers probably come from him.
I think Imu is like Chopper, He can Transform into all those Monsters, but somehow He was able to grant those Forms to his Henchmen instead & kept Monster Point to himself

I wonder if all Five need to be Defeated for Imu to become Vulnerable or it's Vice Versa

Only the strongest have the best haki.
Mihawk, the strongest swordsman in the world, has Yoru, who is a black sword, the strongest sword in the world.
That is a guarantee that Mihawk is very strong.

Points of course, how could Imu go toe-to-toe with Joyboy after that? I mean, the case here is so strange that in terms of exemplification it's like saying that Roger could make Wb get on his knees, shaking and panting, so if he's capable of doing that, it's hard to imagine Wb matching him, which This is not the case at any time.

The guy hasn't even left the silhouette yet and is already accumulating LS. So basically and after this display whatever Imu's level is he is below Joyboy and not even close.

I think it's just that Joyboy's Haki gave him PTSD. Similar to Kaido being affected by Haki resembling Oden. I don't think Imu shares his power with them. They just bow down to him as he is the last remaining founder of the WG.
But Kaidou's PTSD was not at such a level that it would make him fall to his knees shaking and panting, the same for Shanks' scar, the scar in both cases throbbed, but not to the point of causing these other things.
In this panel you can see the anomatopoeia and it is even described in the box next to that his scar throbbed.

Kaidou after that:

So, in Kaidou's case there were several factors, one of them is the fact that he was completely drunk before (This already justifies his behavior), after that he was attacked by 9 Samurais, the scar started to throb, and finally he was confused about how the scabbards were managing to hurt him, all while he was drunk, and he remembered the scene against Oden, but none of it left him panting, shaking and made him fall to his knees, although falling to his knees was impossible in the air, laughs.

Maybe the Gorosei are Imu's satellites?
