When they faced on the Saobody archipelago was Kizaru aware that X-Drake, who had seemingly deserted the Navy to become a pirate like his father before him, was in truth a member of SWORD and a spy or was he left out of the plan and so did really believe that Drake was a true pirate ?

At that point even Oda didn't know
But nah sword is a secret oraganizatiom probably only 1 high ranking marines whether it's Garp or Kuzan knows and leads them

In my opinion SWORD is a secret staybehind organization not know to Marine.
It is a secret organization inside the WG in which the people are trying to save the Marine from WG spoilage.
Admirals Gorosei and IM do not know the existance.

Seems strongly inspired on GLADIO (which mean SWORD in Latin) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Gladio
GLADIO was a secret police in Europe (in particular Italy) which serve as an organization against eventual communist revolution.

I think Oda had Drake history as a marine spy since a long time. Maybe the SWORD was not planned like that but I think Drake has been a spy in Oda's mind since his introduction.

About the thread Kizaru is the smartest admiral and vegapunk buddy, he obviously knew about Drake ^^.

Yeah probaly. He close to Coby and Coby are Garp trained. Garp has connection to Aokiji as seen at Water 7. The reason Aokiji closed with BB probaly something with Sword. Aokiji should be the leader of Sword. Anyway if Kizaru really knew Drake and Kizaru deserves Oscar for their acting.

of course he knew, a secret that Admiral doesn't know but there is a whole group of them in Marines, even Koby is among them ? that cant be, Admirals knowing of such mission is a must, its not like Corazon who alone was on a mission, this is a whole group of people and Drake is their captain :risicheck:

I assume only the Gorosei, Kong, Sengoku, Akainu and members of SWORD unit know it. Maybe even the Admirals know, hard to tell, but it's extremely unlikely that any other Marine below them is aware of this, it would be stupid to spread this information.
