Questions & Mysteries Did Oda make Luffy too strong?

#2
He can pretty much low diff his entire crew at this point

Adv CoC + Adv CoA + Adv CoO + Mythical Zoan + Awakening

The captain is always far superior to his crewmate, but this time it’s too much
Finally Luffy is strong we waited 20 years for this

Every single arc he had to fight enemies with better abilities than him and we had to endure it when he stretched his arm

I hope Nika is one hell of a fighter

It's the same in most shounen manga. SSJ3 Goku can beat all of DBZ-heroes alone including Vegeta. Naruto can beat all of Konoha 9 alone except Sasuke. Luffy at this point can probably defeat all Strawhats alone. A manga that did it right is Ranma 1/2 were Ryoga and Mousse were never to far from Ranma even in the end and even others like Happosai and Ranmas dad stayed relevant far into the story.

Not really, in order for Luffy to beat Kaido in a 1 v 1 setting, Oda simply had to make Luffy this strong.
Kaido's is the word's strongest creature and has been referred to as the strongest in the verse by multiple characters in this arc already.
He's a legend that is said to be unbeatable in a 1 v 1 and even some of the Gorosei think enraging him is madness.
Plus, I think Oda has made a very telling statement with regards to just how strong Kaido is by declaring Luffy's loss to Kaido via the narrator's box and then having "Nika" beat him. Luffy literally has to awaken as a god (i.e. "Nika") in order to beat Kaido.

That said, this does mess up the dynamics in the crew particularly the M3 ^^".
I was always of the opinion that Luffy would never be able to beat Zoro & Sanji in a a 2 v 1 but now I'm not so sure. With Luffy having grown this much tho, I don't think we've seen the end of Zoro & Sanji's PUs this arc. If not then Oda might want to put similar distance btw Luffy and his Wings like the Yonko & their commanders.

I'm not sure I understand the logic behind posts like this. Luffy HAS to be strong, he's literally against one of the strongest pirates in the one piece universe and got his ass handed to him multiple times in a row beforehand. Compared to his crew he's definitely strong, but it's not like Zoro or Sanji are weak, quite the opposite really with how they dispatched King and Queen respectively.

Not until a guy named Zoro is standing inside the same crew
I’m sorry I might’ve been able to see how you could compare Luffy and Zoro pre awakening (already a reach as he was a tier above) but now? This is actual delusion

Zoro is nowhere near Luffy’s level now and Zoro fanboys (not fans) are the only ones that believe they’re comparable. Hell, even a lot of Zoro fanboys know they can’t be compared right now

G5 Luffy is ragdolling his whole crew

No offence my friend but your username suggests a lot when compared to your last post.

I acknowledge Luffy is much more than likely stronger but people get confused about Zoro's potency because they usually think he did his best on the rooftop ignoring the Hakai aftermath.

By calculations Zoro should be able to scar Kaido way deeper if he stood healthy expecially his post rooftop version and on the other hand people don't accurately factor his barrier haki proficiency and think he isn't gonna tank a few attacks once again ignoring the Hakai matter.

Lastly they don't factor how good his speed is ignoring what he did on the rooftop and that accounts for reflexes and reactions too not just merely his attacking speed.
