Did Oda save Vergo from getting low diffed by PH Zoro, or...?

Or is it the other way around? :Think:

I have been told several times how Oda saved Vergo from fighting PH Zoro, otherwise he would get low diffed.
While the fact is Vergo not only low diffed the other wing PH Sanji, but he also cracked his leg (which Imu couldn't do btw).


But with recent chapter of Imu treating both Chicken Wings Zoro and Sanji more or less the same way and both got stomped, now I am not sure anymore what would happen here...

Given now in the manga they have the same opponent at the same time against chicken wings since oars and Zoro look worse he would probally break shusui
Usual Oda protecting zoro, dont worry after this humiliation, he and sanji will never touch the same opponent again for 20 years again

Oda didn't want Zoro to get his swords cracked so early on in the story when he was supposed to aura farm instead. So yes, Vergo would be an absolute nightmare for Zoro.

If you think about it, Law managed to cut Vergo when the latter lost composure and gave up his defence for a large mountain (!) sized room slash. If Doflamingo was charging as careless as Vergo at that moment, he'd be split in half as well.

Talking about aura farm, Oda also saved Loki from Vergo otherwise Loki would get aura diffed just like Loki Jr. was.

Vergo would body both wings and Loki just like Imu's case.

All trolling aside, there is this one scene in Punk Hazard that heavily portrays Vergo in a better light than Zoro.

This dragon's animal instincts told it that Zoro is safer to take on than Vergo. Just your prescense making a Dragon fly away is an insane feat, we saw a dragon earlier have no problem fighting even Luffy and Zoro in a tag team. People don't understand how insane this portrayal is from Oda.
