Might be ironic coming from me of all people, but thank fuck. Genuinely.
Disney didn't let a man have Spider-man on the gravestone of his deceased child, but Disney was fine with this? Gotta fucking love mega corporations.
Some actual hope in these shitty dystopian times, we love to see it.
Now if only Disney would stop making so many shitty live action remakes that bastardise the original films immensely.
(Glares at the AWFUL looking Moana live action "remake" for a film that's barely a decade old and it's just an excuse to milk money and for The Rock to be even more narcissistic.)
Also I've heard how many sequels they've just announced too, between Disney and Pixar or w/e. My head is actually spinning from that. Why an Inside Out 3? And Incredibles 3 is gonna be a dumpster fire I'm sure.
Saying that though, I went to watch Hoppers on a pure whim, last resort choice due to missing out on Project Hail Mary instead as it was fully booked at this small cinema I go to and I really enjoyed it, except the awful in some ways ending but the ending also had some merits too. It's a shame Disney forced them to hold back on how much more pro environmental conservation and awareness it was meant to be but not surprisingly, since Disney ofc.
I gotta say I did really love Zootopia 2 as well (not not for furry reasons lmao) although I hated the villain in it.
