Controversial Do the math how much of a Shimotsuki is Zolo?

#11
You still don't get it. It is not Ryuma genes who make Zoro special, a shiton of people has them but are only your average bozo. What makes Zoro truly special are not the genes he inherited from his Shimotsuki grandma but the ones he get from his grandad.

Other way around bro. Any Shimotsuki carrying the name needs to be male. Zoro's grandmother name ended when she married a Roronoa.

Hes as much a Shimotsuki as Kuina
"The percentage of DNA that you share with each grandparent is around 25%. It's true there are some pieces of DNA that are not passed on evenly from all 4 grandparents. But they overall make up a very small percentage of your total DNA."

Half true.

If Roronoa's genes is even more special then how did his father ended up killed by pirates? He should be top tier level if his genes is really something else.

It is all Zoro's hardwork.

Genes always skip a generation. His father probably had dominant Shimotsuki genes and indeed he has not Zoro in his name but Arashi or something, while Zoro come to get them (even if he was not good enough to get the Pin prefix too). Makes perfect sense.

@Stacks What is your point. I know how genetics works. What does this have anything to do with what I said. Kuina and Zoro have roughly the same percentage of Shimotsuki blood. But think about it, the family line has continued for hundreds of years, do you think any of them are pureblood lmao

We don't know how Shitmotsuki traditions were at Wano. Maybe they are pure blood...

What you mean by pure?

Well I just say that genetics says that Zoro has 25% of his grandmother genes which is the first Shimotsuki that entered in Roronoa's bloodline.
