Yes, too far deep to stop now when I put more than half of my life into the series.
Even though the main character's gags and quirks suck. I still do fine some of them enjoyable and entertaining. My main purpose is all about the mystery and the end goals now.

In the past, I could call myself a One Piece fan. But not anymore.

The story is too childish for me. I used to read each chapter multiple times, now I just skim through the spoiler.

Also used to like many characters especially Zoro, Sanji, and Luffy. Now they are meh
No, I don't care about side characters but one piece fans love side characters a new side character named booty smack could be introduced and you'd see one piece fans glazing on this character "Wooty Wmack" comments over and over again.

I don't like the gags Oda uses now, or the monster trio and I don't care about the lore.

I was initially a one piece fan because the main cast was well written and they were funny, now the ones I liked are either hollow shells of what they used to be or straight up subjected to hate porn by Oda

I guess I have hope Oda will steer in the right direction, but my hope will die soon hopefully

Generally I am not a "fan" of anything. Fanboyism is cancer.
I enjoy the story, but if Oda died tomorrow and could not finish it I would not really be upset about it that much.

I believe this is how we all truly feel. None of us are really fans of One Piece. It's just kind of something to do.

Pretty much all the chapters are bad and we all forget how childish the jokes are and Oda doesn't like fight scenes. He prefers the joking around and mocks his own characters. Like, almost every top tier serious cool fighter megachad has to have a lame backstory.

Like Kuma. Kuma was cool before he had a bad backstory that makes us all hate it.

So, are we One Piece fans? Not really. None of us are. We don't particularly like any characters and we enjoy bashing people who say they like any of them as well as any of the plots.

Anyone who denies this is pretty much lying.

Also every character is a fraud, and basically by extension Oda is a fraud too.

So far it's going... 1:6 people hate the story.. 1:4 don't really care if Oda dies tomorrow... and roughly 2:3 think they will always like the story

Just based on the 2:3 people thinking they will always like the story means 1 out of 3 people here either hate the story or don't care if Oda dies tomorrow.

Sure I can still call myself a fan... but I'm no longer spending so much time theorizing or talking thoroughly about its current or future events.
Simply because there is something killing my enjoyment with this series and gradually it killed my passion for it
That thing is called "bad payoff for characters in arcs"

It doesn't matter if you're a Zoro fan and hate Sanji... or a Sanji fan and hate on Zoro... LOGICALLY Sanji not having a great payoff in WCI is something EVERYONE should call Oda for... A lover for the character or a hater.... In Wano as well, Zoro's shusui was one of the WORST PLOTS ever written.. and Oda constantly just ignoring giving Zoro more element to his character than fighting was simply a huge spilled water on Zoro fans and not giving their character what they need

This happens for all characters by the way.
I can bet you with everything that Elbaf Arc which is supposed to have Usopp shining a lot and many Usopp fans are waiting for YEARS, it will have BAD PAYOFF for Usopp...

Evil and corrupted characters have BAD PAYOFF ENDING for them.. I literally miss the day Luffy made an imprint on Bellamy's face with that one shot..

An evil bastard who is slaughtering people, and doing evil shit after evil shit, we constantly get unresolved ending for them where it feels like they NEVER suffered at the end..

Let me be clear, I wanna see that villain at the very end get SLAUGHTERED and get rag dolled through the mud. If he's WAY TOO STRONG for it, make the evolve state of the main character too much stronger to fuck him up

Literally every arc after the other I feel it's the opposite of what fans are saying.. fans here wanted "consequences for main character Luffy for opposing yonko" me on the other hand I wanted "consequences for villains for doing evil deeds" and THEY NEVER GOT WHAT THEY DESERVED... It's always a gentle end for them and for that

FUCK ODA for killing my enjoyment with this series

Indeed, it is time we questioned our faith to Oda and leave this fandom for greater pastures with bigger payoffs. Oda has betrayed us arc after arc.

I believe that this "fan" group is barely existent, and it hinges on whether Oda gives people what they want- but you all know it will not happen already.

Let us think deeply on this, and make a firm decision. Is One Piece even worth it anymore? Is it?

*Cough* I mean I'm in it until the end... I'm kinda hoping other people will stop reading tbh they vulgarize the show and try to make it about something it's not... I'm a real fan lol fk you guys

Not even remotely what I meant.
Fans by merch and are otherwise interested in the characters, like making shipping threads or do silly drawings. I only enjoy the story. Past that I have no interest in One Piece.
1:4 don't really care if Oda dies tomorrow
This has happened in the past and therefore is not a big issue for me. I also read Berserk. Miura dying does not make the story as far as it got any less enjoyable. Same goes for One Piece.

You sound pretty bitter and stupid, ngl.
