This is probably the most wrong thing I’ve read in general about the MCU and Wanda’s character lol.

Wanda goes through several character arcs all relating to her coming to grips with her own strength and how she is perceived by others. Oh and also, she almost murdered Thanos on screen and is one of the strongest heroes in the universe so there’s that.

Fanservice is typical Shonen lmao, I think saying that Anime/ manga caters to males based off of this alone is simply a stretch.
Anime/ Manga is a medium, an artform and style, with no 1 specific genre.

There are something for everyone, you have films like the ones from Ghibli which is universally loved, or others like Your Name amongst others. The Mainstream Anime might cater a bit more to males, sure, but I wouldn't for a second say that it's unfriendly for females.
I recently saw an anime about some girl wanting to play football (soccer if you will) with the boys because the women were weaker players, but then the coach pointed out that she should take on the role of bringing up their level and bring hope to the women's football again!
So yeah, nah, I'm heavily disagreeing with this statement, there's something out there for just about anyone.
But most mainstream fanservice animes aren't that great most of the time anyway, and it's also just insentivising horny guys to buy their merch lmaoo.

Shonen literally means young male, this is specifically targeted at young males, while Shojou means young girl, and this genre is specifically catering to their audience.

So again, I 100% disagree lmao.

Also I'm not saying that Shonen is for boys and Shojou is for girls, what I'm saying is that their target audience is male/ female.
For example Akatsuki no Yona or Nana is a Shojou series, but I love those series so so so much.

but the issues is mostly from some animes genres like shonen. It would be more appealing to women readers if they treated their female characters better

As for the MCU, it's getting worse and worse, Endgame was so bad and basically every character had shit portrayal, Wanda included for the small time she had.

As a side character in the previous movies she was OK because she was what I would expect of a side character (female or not). I can't even recall about her story.

Also the love story with vision was ridiculous. A lot less than Banner and Natasha though.
