Speculations Do you think that Oda will deliver with Cross Guild?

that's what the large majority of zoro fans actually want the cg to be. Something so obviously insane, but something that elevates zoro above goofy and the rest somehow...
Most of them think mihawk will be epilogue fight/final zoro fight.
Prepare for massive disappointment if that's your definition of "delivering"
I think oda will actually deliver a sword duel that is up to his past standards tho. Basically they fight, swords clash, zoro is on the defensive and receiving end for the majority of the fight, and then at the end, he suddenly has an epiphany probably through a small flashback, unlocks a new technique/form/move/powerup and then bam... Teleports behind mihawk and mihawk is shindeiru and Yoru is rip.
Of course since oda's artstyle is well past its prime years, the fight won't be comparable artistically to the past fights like Mr 1, Kaku etc.
So yall might have to wait for the anime to do the heavy lifting like it did in the king fight.

Like you/i and many others said CG is just a cheap way to force mIhawk to do something. The only "important" part is Buggy and the interesting part is the back and forth between Buggy and Crocodile, there is nothing else contributing to it.
Like the main 3 players don't even have the same goal, each have different priorities meaning it going to end in a clown fuck fest anyway, they are legit more dysfunctional than the wano alliance. Buggy wants to find the one piece/stick it to shanks, Crocodile wants Utopia 2.0 and Mihawks needs a AA meeting

Ngl, it's pretty shocking how little Oda seems interested in Cross Guild and the black market in general. I never thought they would be super important, but I assumed they would be involved in some incident with Sengoku or Fujitora as a side plot during Elbaf, but obviously we aren't going to get that now, with the flashback taking up so much time. And we already know that after Elbaf, we'll have lodestar/laughtale stuff about the man marked by flames,and Oda will probably be too focused on that, as well as revealing who put Mariejois on fire, which could pretty much by any faction but Cross Guild.
