The hype for that fight died when Mihawk became his master/teacher

Yea tbh Oda really ruined it with the training thing. It’s like Itachi training Sasuke or Blackbeard training Luffy type shit

Oda was hyping up Wano to no ends, can’t expect much here ngl. And Oda can’t draw sword fights like that so there’s that too. If it’s dope then good if it blows then it blows; it is what it is at this point. Can’t really tell how it is gonna go down with Oda has been post timeskip

No, for 2 reasons.

#1 - Oda is physically incapable of giving a non-luffy fightlots of panel time. This fight needs 3 chapters worth of full focus.

#2 - Mihawk has no hype, no feats, and he's Zoro's master. It's the lamest setup for a conflict; and I don't give a damn what they do with that plotline. I'd rather someone else kill Mihawk beforehand.

Mihawk being Zoro’s teacher made all of the animosity go away. Mihawk adores Zoro ever since their first duel, he’s just a teacher waiting for his student to surpass him. Quite similar with Shanks and Luffy‘s relationship. This makes me think Mihawk is not Zoro’s final fight.
