No, because MC can't act like Zoro, you can't make MC from Zoro's character. Only casual fans and some different people are being fanatical about Zoro. Luffy has abilities like gaining allies and turning his enemies into his allies, which is why mostly because he is MC. Zoro would be a dumb brick, who doesn't care about others if he was MC, and the story wouldn't work. Zoro needs to be cool and shouldn't be lowballed like Luffy, that's his role in the story, which is why casual fans like this character, but looking ''cool'' is easy to find in other characters, what you can't find is that Luffy's personality which draws other people towards him that's why he is MC and that's why the story works.
For example, when Nami leaves the crew in Don Krieg arc, Zoro says forget about her, but Luffy says no, and they go after her and face with Arlong, which creates another arc, you can't create an arc with Zoro's character.
Or when Sanji leaves the crew in Zou arc, Zoro says forget about Sanji, and once again Luffy says no and they go after Sanji and create another arc in WCI, which also creates the story, that's the huge difference between Luffy and some cool looking guy who doesn't care others except his captain Luffy.
