Actually Oda is doing a very great job because every arc he hyped up the villain and you always see a bunch of people crying that the straw hats and their allies don't die and that the villains suffer from the plot

It's like they still discover One Piece every new arc.

I personally just get hyped by Luffy, Zoro and Sanji when they get their 1v1.
Also about some revelations. And I guess I'm one of the few that is ok to learn thing bit by bit. Some people want Oda to show what the One Piece is already which is ridiculous. The way he is revealing it is how he should do it, every piece of the puzzle will eventually assemble

I concur here actually. At least recently.

We have Snakeman, Udon, ACoC, the ones to look more blatant. Snakeman could be explained since he is oddly very smart fighting wise, Udon could be explained by luck to encounter the right person and capability to learn fast, ACoC ability, but pretty coincidental. So overall well.
