I'd say yes. Blackbeard's main ship is named "Saber of Xebec."
In Chapter 1107, it's heavily implied that he shares the same goal of becoming the King of the World and that he's also aware of his special bloodline.
SBS Vol. 82 lists Blackbeard's hobbies as gambling and historical research. The latter, I assume, could have led him to this realization if he didn't already know who his father was.
I think the gambling hobby ties into Davy Back Fights since it's a form of it. Blackbeard became the ruler of Hachinosu, where those games originated, just like his father. He's intentionally following a similar path.

Very much likely, yes. There's his flagship (Saber of Xebec), the goal is pretty much the same (conquering the world), he even went to take possession of Hachinosu, which not even WB was interested... and I don't think that Teach joined WB just only due to his fame... he probably knew very well about Newgate's own dream (having a family) and that he would be able to exploit it. In any case, even if he didn't knew back then, having traveled more than 20 years with the WB Pirates certainly gave him the opportunity to learn about things that he wouldn't be able to otherwise.
Think he does, he named his ship Saber of Xebec, probably respects his father for following Davy Jones pirating traditions @Blackbeard @Reborn
