General & Others Does Oda hate Zoro?

#1

No matter how many cool feats and one liners he gives Zoro he still feels the need to have his strength and importance comparable to a cook

Sanji dreams to find water while Zoro dreams to become the greatest swordsman surpassing Mihawk

Zoro unlocked conquerors in wano while Sanji still doesn’t have it but Oda still has the nerve to compare the 2 and call them the wings of the pirate king

Zoro went from fighting emperors with Luffy against to fighting a commander duo with Sanji. Kaido the man that glazed Oden for decades not being able to care less about Zoro scarring him

Oda lets Sanji be actually relevant to the plot of each arcs while Zoro is mainly just designated to fight. Even in Wano a large portion of Zoro fans were furious with how Zoro wasn’t nearly as plot relevant as Sanji was in his arc

Oda even made the left hand man role official and put it in our faces that yes he’s a Sanji parallel. At least in Rayleigh’s case he was also the vice captain along with the right hand man and wing. Zoro’s role in the crew just being Swordsman

Oda can’t even have Zoro and his fans gatekeepe conquerors haki because st this point it’s inevitable that Sanji will soon unlock

No, he just doesn't hate Sanji. And he doesn't rate Zoro as highly as his most extreme fans believe. The normal Zoro and Sanji fans are enjoying the respect these two are getting as "The Wings". We look forward to them climbing to legendary status without deluding ourselves into believing that they are greater than they are, nor lesser, nor that one wing is superior to the other. This has been the objective fans understanding since the beginning and we've never been proven wrong. Betting against Zoro or Sanji never ends well.

No sane Zoro fan should be happy with chicken wing duties.

They serve similar roles but occupy different spaces in the narrative.

Oda likes his cool guy swordsman archetypes. It’s apparently difficult for him to make them goofy in ways that undermine their cool factor, so he minimises their exposure.

It also seems he just relates the most to Sanji.

Sanji’s is an emotional goon. Oda is an emotional goon.

Love is a major theme - if not the defining theme - in One Piece because it’s important to Oda. He’s talked about how marriage and children changed him, and I think you can tell from how prominent parents became in the story over time. I don’t think was planned from the beginning.

I said before wano, we're entering the Joy-Boy Saga and Oda's focus is going to be on Luffy and his family and his opponents. The crew is no longer that important. We've already learned about Zoro and Sanji in 2 arcs. Now it's Luffy's time.

The author aims to make the said character, Zoro, the greatest swordsman of all time by literally giving the character three sword style in order to surpass the real life legend of Musashi Miyamoto and his two sword style and we have retards saying shit like thr OP.

The strength difference between Zoro and Sanji has been set since TB when at the most crucial moment Zoro literally canonically hilt diffed Sanji.
